Honda CBR1000RR and CB1000R

Yamaha has already done it while Suzuki followed, Honda cant be too far behind.

Honda two wheelers India has launched two of its most exciting superbikes from its international portfolio, the CBR1000RR and the naked CB1000R.


The CBR1000RR was developed by the same team of engineers which developed the all conquering RC211V widely regarded as the best motogp bike of its time. 

The bike uses a 999cc inline four cylinder engine which develops a peak power of 178 bhp and revs to a dizzy 13,000 rpm! The Honda CBR1000RR has also got the distinction of offering ABS on a series production bike.


Next in line is the CB1000R aimed squarely at the mighty Yamaha MT-01. The CB1000R uses the same basic engine as its race bred sibling but is tuned for midrnage performance. 

The bike offers stunning nakes styling and has features like fully adjustable front forks, radial front brakes, single sided swingarm, a 4-swept-spoke ninja star rear wheel, an all digital dash and H.I.S.S security system.

The bike will be sold in the four metro’s: Mumbai, Calcutta, Delhi and Chennai in the first phase. The company plans to expand the dealers to other cities depending on the demand.
