Nokia N86 Launched in India

Nokia has launched its flagship imaging phone the N86 8MP in India. The phone is available across all Nokia stores around the country. The phone is pitched by an imaging phone by Nokia after the N82, which was one of the best selling imaging phones belonging to the multimedia focused N Series with Xenon Flash. This imaging slider was launched by Nokia at the Mobile World Congress 2009, which happened in the month of February. The phone will be available in White as well as Black color.

If you see the device resembles the N85 but is way better than that in many aspects. The N86 scores over the N85 in terms of a good solid, slider mechanism. The other aspect where Nokia N86 kicks N85's ass is its 8 meg snapper, which has a variable diaphragm, wide 28mm, dual LED flash, Carl Zeiss Lens. The resolution is backed by 2.6 inch OLED QVGA screen with hardened glass, so that you don't get any scratches on your phone's display..this is something really cool. Hardened scratch glass you get to see only in premium or costly phones like the Vertus and the Porsches.

The phone has a beefed up 8GB in-built memory with microSD card support. Apart from this, N86 boasts of GPS, WiFi, TV Our, compass functionality, HSDPA. The phone is priced in India around INR 27,000. The interview video below will tell you more about the Nokia N86 8MP if you are planning buy one.
