Chennai Starving for Fuel

Have you heard of people starving for petrol ? Even after the rates are being shoot up as never before... Here is the news, it would have been a bad day for most of the motorist who had their tanks left with few ml of petrol last evening on monday, as many of the petrol bunks ran out of stock and put up a no stock board, some even switched off their bunk's lights early last evening as they were not able to answer the crowd approached for fuel.

Bikes and cars were in search of fuel from outlet to outlet, but only disappointment was left to them as many returned pulling their vehicle all the way home. Few officials of the leading petrol companies in the city reported that it was like a undeclared ration, the supply they were waiting for has not reached in time and hence they were in a situation to handle it with the available stock which dint last long for more than few hours.

Most of the petrol pumps were deployed with police, in order to divert the incoming motorist to other pumps as they were in large numbers. The sudden dry of fuel in the city may be the impact of the lorry strike announced by the All India Motor Transport congress.

Though some of the petrol pumps were fueling, 50 percent of the pumps went dry, and the pumps fueling too were giving limited petrol to all its customers to ensure fuel for most.

So friends, if you find any fuel station on your way then make sure you fill your tanks before your car or bike's fuel indicator starts dancing at its end, because you may not find a petrol pump when your vehicle go dry.
